§ 2-100. Planning Commission.

The Planning Commission shall exercise authority to review, approve and disapprove the preliminary plats for major subdivisions of land within the corporate limits of the Town of Blacksburg. In so doing, the Planning Commission shall be considered the agent of the Town Council. The Planning Commission shall perform its duties in regard to subdivisions in accordance with this chapter and the Land Subdivision and Development Act, Title 15.2, chapter 22, article 6 of the Code of Virginia.
