§ 16-112. Unauthorized purchases.

No town employee shall purchase or contract for any goods, services, insurance or construction within the purview of this chapter, other than by and through the purchasing system, and any purchase order or contract made contrary to the provisions of this section is void and the town shall not be bound thereby.
