§ 16-122. Appeal of proposed debarment.

(a)

Submission of appeal by contractor. The prospective contractor may submit an appeal to the purchasing agent, within 15 days after receipt of notice of the proposed debarment, including any additional specific information that raises a genuine dispute of material fact. The purchasing agent shall render a decision in writing within 15 days after receipt of the contractor's appeal.

(b)

Appeals. The decision of the purchasing agent shall be final unless the prospective contractor appeals by instituting legal action as provided in the Virginia Public Procurement Act.
